Strong earthquake hits south Bali, no tsunami threat to Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.3 on the Richter scale, occurred near South of Bali, Indonesia at 1.45am.

Malaysian Meteorological Department, in a statement, said that the epicentre of the quake was located 302 kilometres (km) south from Denpasar, Indonesia, at a depth of 45km.

No tsunami threat to Malaysia.
