Sex video clip: Beginning of break up in PKR?
PUCHONG: The viralled sex video clip allegedly featuring Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali marks the beginning of a break up in PKR, said a Pakatan Harapan parliamentary coordinator.
Jasin parliamentary coordinator Datuk Khairuddin Abu Hassan stressed that this is because the video originated from within PKR, instead of opposition parties such as Umno and PAS.
“As humans, it is a norm for speculation to arise in the heart of the minister since he is the victim of slander. It is easier for outsiders to use words that describes what is in their mind but it is the individual who bears the consequences of this conspiracy,” he said.
“Even I would speculate spontaneously if there was an evil slander against me to find out the motive and be careful with political rivals around me,” he added.
“It is not wrong as it is human nature. Regardless whether we agree or oppose, some one needs to make a conclusion or speculate,” he said in a statement.
Earlier today, Azmin mentioned that he was convinced that the viralled video clips were the works of party insiders due to certain quarters political agenda who wanted to curtail his rise in government and politics.
The video clips in question featured Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdul Aziz was reported to have been tested by experts in Australia who had no doubts in its authenticity.
Party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim meanwhile was tensed yesterday over the question of faction arising within the party and insisted that his party is united in the face of adversity.
