PUCHONG: An elderly man was killed after a RapidKL bus hit the former at Chan Sow Lin Road last night.
In the incident, which happened at 9.30pm, the elderly man was said to have suddenly passed in front of the bus route leading to Lebuh Pudu.
Rapid Bus said in a statement that the 60-year-old victim suffered serious injuries and died at the scene. The statement also said the bus driver and the 20 passengers were not injured.
“RapidKL will provide full cooperation to the police to conduct an investigation into the incident,” he said.
A police report was lodged at the City Road Police Station.
