KUALA LUMPUR: Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail would head the Home Ministry, replacing Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, reported revived Malay daily Utusan Online.
Citing an unnamed source, the daily added that Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng would have a portfolio change.
It however did not mention the new portfolios for both Muhyiddin and Lim.
The online only report also failed to indicate when the reshuffle would take place.
Rumours of a possible cabinet reshuffle have been making rounds for quite some time now. Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad doused the rumour by stating that there was a possibility for a slight change in the portfolios held.
He has also denied that PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would be his cabinet member.
