Perikatan Nasional is not a government of national reconciliation, but one of betrayal.
The newly minted Communication and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saiffudin Abdullah must be hallucinating to say that the new government is one of national reconciliation.
Saifuddin, having betrayed his own party PKR and the Pakatan coalition, has no iota of shame to make such nonsensical remark that Perikatan has embraced all communities and groups, with a fair ethnic and regional representation.
Of course, he lacks the courage or responsibility to note that non-Malays have been completely marginalised in the illegal takeover that happened recently.
A government, whether new or old, must be mandated in an election. It cannot be formed through a backdoor or through the use of illicit methods.
How can Saifuddin claim that Perikatan is a government of national reconciliation when it was formed through betrayal, consisting of those in the opposition with tainted background.
However, Saiffudin is so clouded into thinking that new government came about as result of putsch, having betrayed the legitimately mandated Pakatan.
By the way, he is one of the few who betrayed the Pakatan government, but totally devoid the sense of wrongdoing or disloyalty.
But who knows how long Saifuddin will last in this new government.
His disloyalty and treachery might not be confined to Pakatan. When opportunities arise, he will have no qualms of jumping ship.
Saifuddin can use all the big and fine words to describe his backdoor government.
The fact remains it was formed by traitors, especially those who betrayed Pakatan.
My advice to Saifuddin; Do your job, but do not try to legitimise the Perikatan government.
