In light of the alleged incident which shows that a deputy minister and exco from Perak complied with the prohibition on the motion for the Movement Control Order (MCO), I hope the police will investigate this matter.
I was informed that a police report was made by activist Ridzwan Abu Bakar after seeing on FB a few pictures of a group of people who did not comply with the instructions set out in conjunction with the third phase of the MCO.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has also said that no one can override the law and that anyone should take action.
If on Wednesday 10 men who were waiting for the prayer of Isyak in Sayong Tengah Mosque were arrested for violating the MCO, Datuk Dr’s Noor Azmi, Bagan Serai Member of Parliament visit with the Perak Government Exco, Razman Zakaria to a tahfiz ceremony in Lenggong should not be granted an exception.
I hope no government or political party will take the opportunity to provide welfare assistance to politics and in that case, a lesson can be taken from the New Zealand country where a Health Minister resigned after confessing to breaking the restraint order.
I hope Malaysians will respect the law during the MCO period to flatten the Covid-19 curve.
