PUCHONG: PAS calls for the Pakatan Harapan government to remove DAP members from the Cabinet for allegedly undermining racial harmony and the Federal Constitution.

Its information chief Kamaruzaman Mohamad also accused the DAP leadership and non-governmental organisations (NGO) aligned to them of attempting to subvert Malaysian democracy.

“DAP is trying to undermine our social contract that has been the base of our unity and harmony.

“Pakatan government are also burdened by a lot of issues caused by the DAP,” he said, in statement today.

He cited several examples to it, such as the anti-Jawi controversy and the attempt to sign the Rome Statute on racial discrimination as DAP’s agenda to derail the government’s position.

“DAP is also seen as trying to promote communism in Malaysia. The Malay leaders in Pakatan Harapan are starting to see DAP as their biggest problem.

“DAP is also the cause why the people who supported Pakatan Harapan in the 14 General Election are now supporting us. Just look at the by-election results,” said Kamaruzaman.

However, the PAS leader failed to mention that the move to sign the Rome Statute was mooted by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The anti-Jawi movement, on the other hand, also involves MCA, which is an ally of the Muafakat Nasional signed by Umno and PAS.
