PUTRAJAYA: Acting Telekom chief executive officer (CEO) Imri Mokhtar would not be helming the company, confirmed Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad amidst delays over the position that has been in the spotlight recently.
Previous CEO, Datuk Seri Mohammed Shazalli Ramly who was also a media adviser for former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak quit in June last year.
Dr Mahathir however stopped short of naming the new successor to the top post.
“He has been appointed. I don’t think, they have not announced yet, but I think he has been appointed,” he told reporters at the prime minister’s official residence here during the Hari Raya open house.
