KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Indian Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MIMCOIN) will organise the Third Edition of SME Congress & Golden Dinar Awards 2020 on Feb 15 to generate and increase entrepreneurship among Indian Muslims.
Following the success of the first and second edition of the congress in creating a solid base for all entrepreneurs, decision makers, practitioners, governments officials and exploring networking opportunities, the third edition is introduced.
MIMCOIN president Datuk Syed Jamarulkhan MS Kadir said the congress was established in 2014 to create platform for Indian Muslim community to attract, interact, share and engage in business areas and information sharing throughout Malaysia.
“The congress aims to develop entrepreneurial skills by identifying opportunities and putting useful ideas into practice while also assisting the Indian Muslim community to help develop and take their businesses to greater heights.
“With the support from prominent entrepreneurs, community leaders and businesses, the congress is organise to promote business excellence and entrepreneurial skills within the Indian Muslim community operating in Malaysia,” he said at the launch Third Edition of SME Congress & Golden Dinar Awards 2020 today.
Also present was his secretary Shahul Hameed Dawood.
Jamarulkhan said the event comprises of two components namely conference and awards.
“The conference will feature international speakers from India namely Food King founder Sarathbabu Elumalai, Natural Salon and Spa co-founder C K Kumaravel, Business Blogging chief executive officer Kiruba Shankar and other professional speakers from various industries.
“It’s expected to garner more than 1,000 delegates and we hope to see more Malaysia’s homegrown SMEs venture into the international market,” he said.
Meanwhile, Shahul said anyone who are interested to join the congress or want further information can register at http://mimcoin.org/.
“Anyone who have the capability and potential to get nomination can also register with us,” he said.
