Following the recent stimulus package rolled out by the Government of Malaysia, Malaysian Indian Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MIMCOIN) would like to express their heartfelt appreciation by thanking our Honourable Prime Minister YAB Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhiyiddin bin Haji Mohd. Yassin, the Finance Minister, YB Senator Tengku Dato’ Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz and other Ministers who have taken immediate measure to curb the spread COVID-19 pandemic efficiently in Malaysia.

The Government has taken initiative to show more interest by supporting the SMEs business organizations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The stimulus packages were timely to help the business community, as many of them were facing challenging times in cash flow.

With the tremendous plunge in revenue of almost 56% with zero income caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies are still struggling to sustain.

We are thankful that the Government stepped up with creative ideas for SMEs as well as for the unemployed personnel, with timely interference of YB Dato Seri Saravanan, Minister of Human Resources, who along with the newly appointed CE Mr. Shahul Hameed Dawood who came up with a few initiatives under HRDF to help reduce the unemployment rate in Malaysia.

The recent COVID 19 outbreaks reminded us of the dedication and commitment made by our medical and nursing professions tirelessly.

These frontline fighters are still in the battle to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia to ensure the citizens of Malaysia are safe and protected. MIMCOIN desires to applaud their selfless act… a “BIG THANK YOU” for all the doctors, nurses, hospital attendants and other personnel.
