KUALA LUMPUR , Aug 7 —The Malaysia Top Achievers 2025 (MATA’25) concluded its much-anticipated awards ceremony in grand style with a dazzling evening of recognition, inspiration, and celebration at M Resort & Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Organised by The Leaders Online, co-organised by My Events International, and supported by Malaysian Women’s Entrepreneur Visionary Association Wawasanita and the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the event marked its 5th edition by honouring trailblazers from across Malaysia’s diverse professional landscape. The event was proudly supported by local media partners, Media Telus and Nambikkai — leading news platforms catering to Malay and Tamil-speaking audiences, respectively.
This prestigious gathering brought together Malaysia’s most esteemed leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives from various industries. Adding distinction to the evening was the presence of YB Datuk Seri Dr. Shamsul Anuar bin Nasarah, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and YB Dato’ Sri Haji Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin, Speaker of the Pahang State Legislative Assembly.

MATA’25 honoured exceptional individuals and organisations across 22 award categories, spanning fields such as technology, healthcare, education, media, arts, and more. These awards were thoughtfully curated to reflect Malaysia’s dynamic industrial landscape, celebrating not just business success, but also creativity, social impact, and leadership in driving national progress.
Highlights of the night, a standout moment was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Awards, recognising distinguished individuals whose enduring contributions have significantly shaped their industries. This year’s honourees included Datuk Dr. Yusof Haslam of Skop Productions Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Ong Soon Ho of Hextar Group of Companies, and Datuk Seri Chiau Beng Teik, JP, of Chin Hin Group Berhad.
Another crowd-favourite moment was the recognition of Shiha Zikir as Versatile Celebrity of the Year, applauding her influential presence and dynamic versatility in Malaysia’s entertainment industry.
The evening also saw M Resort & Hotel itself recognised with the prestigious title of Best Luxury Urban Resort, in honour of its commitment to world-class service, innovation in hospitality, and contributions to Malaysia’s luxury tourism landscape.
