KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 — ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd (ProtectHealth) under the Ministry of Health (MOH) is offering free health screening services to eligible Malaysians through the PeKa B40 2026 Programme in conjunction with the ‘Malaysia, Jom Check!’ campaign.
ProtectHealth in a statement today announced that the community health screening programme nationwide on Sept 5 to 6 aims to provide Malaysians with an opportunity to check their health status.
According to ProtectHealth, the PeKa B40 2026 Programme is also being implemented to encourage the public to undergo regular health screenings to detect high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol problems at an early stage before they become more serious.
“Among the screenings that will be provided are blood pressure, height and weight measurements, blood sample collection and consultation with a doctor.
“This programme is especially encouraged for recipients of the 2026 Sumbang Tunai Rahmah (STR) who are aged 40 and above or registered spouses of STR recipients who are aged 40 and above, however PeKa B40 recipients are automatically eligible to attend this programme,” according to the statement.
The statement also informed that the programme will be held at selected locations in the states of Selangor, Pahang, Johor, Kelantan, Terengganu, Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Sabah and Sarawak.
Eligible recipients are only required to bring their Identity Card (MyKad) as a simple step to check their eligibility, and no registration or fasting is required before attending the screening.
