PUCHONG: Bukit Aman Criminal Investigations Department Director Datuk Huzir Mohamed has confirmed that Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam will be recalled for questioning over the sex video scandal allegedly involving Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and former PKR Youth leader Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz.
Lokman would be called in tomorrow as he had recently submitted an analysis report of video that he commissioned from a British firm.
“Police have received a video analysis report by Verden Forensic, of the United Kingdom, from Datuk Seri Lokman Adam, which was sent to Cybersecurity Malaysia for further checks.
“Datuk Lokman Noor Adam will be summoned again to have further statements recorded on Tuesday, Sept 3,” said Huzir in a statement.
Huzir also revealed that the Attorney General Chambers have given further instructions to the police to continue probing into the case.
Lokman has previously accused the Inspector General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador of lying as the analysis conducted here failed to identify the individual in the alleged video.
As for the case involving Papagomo whose real name is Wan Azrai Wan Deris, Huzir said that the police have already the statement from the Umno Youth exco member.
Police are waiting for the results of a digital analysis into several seized items, where the findings would be forwarded to the AGC for further instructions,” he said.
All other investigations such as the cases of Dr Zakir Naik, United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong) and Tan Sri Koon Yew Yin has been forwarded to the AGC for further instructions.
