COVID-19 : ‘Mask Go Where’ , ‘Flu Go Where’ Help To “Locate” Masks, Clinics In S’pore

SINGAPORE: Two websites – ‘Mask Go Where’ and ‘Flu Go Where’ – have been created here in assisting residents in the midst of lessening COVID-19 spread.

Today is the last day for the collection of reusable masks in the second mask collection exercise here, which began on April 5.

The ‘Mask Go Where’ helps residents who need masks to locate their designated community clubs or centres, or residents’ committee centres.

The first mask collection exercise took place in the city-state from Feb 1 to 9 and the same platform had been used to distribute masks.

At the website, residents will only need to insert the postal code of their registered home addresses and they will be directed to the designated community clubs or centres, or residents’ committee centres.

Meanwhile, ‘Flu Go Where’ is a website that helps residents to find Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs).

The republic’s Ministry of Health (MOH) re-activated the PHPCs in mid-February and there are currently about 940 participating clinics.

They are general practitioner (GP) clinics that will care for those with respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat and runny nose.

As another line of defence that MOH put in to better detect and manage COVID-19, they were activated previously to deal with haze and the H1N1 influenza pandemic.

The same as ‘Mask Go Where’, the resident will only need to insert the postal code of their registered home address and they will be directed to a PHPC.
