PUCHONG: All Umno branch meetings nationwide which started on Feb 15 are advised to postpone to a later date due to COVID-19 outbreak.
Its secretary general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the decision was made after the party’s management committee meeting today.
Maslan said the meetings of its 21,039 branches around the country, postponed to a date that will be determined later.
“The decision made as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of the coronavirus outbreak.
“A new date will be announced later,” he said in a statement today.
He added all party members are advised not to join any mass gathering.
