PUCHONG: Netizens lauded medical staff of Sungai Buloh Hospital (HSB) for taking care of Chinese patients quarantined due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
In doing so, they appreciated the cleaners at the hospital who were tasked to do some challenging work to ensure the virus does not spread to others.
Through a Twitter page, a young Faris Mahadi is asking the public to pray for his father, who works as a cleaner, and other staff to be free of the virus.

“Pray for my dad and all the cleaning staff at Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor from infection of coronavirus .. Who says that a cleaner’s work is so easy, this time it is very challenging for them .. # coronavirus #nCoV
In the post, he posted some pictures showing his father wearing full protective clothing while cleaning up some of the places the patients were using.
He said that the task is very challenging and prayed that his father would be protected by Allah swt.
Similar appreciation was given to the Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) staff and cleaners who dutifully sanitised handrails at airport after the outbreak was reported.

“Germs away! We are doing everything we can to maintain hygiene at our airport by sanitising the handrails of escalators and trolleys. The safety of our passengers and #MYairportscommunity is always our topmost priority, ” MAHB said in a tweet Monday (Jan 27).
The tweet was accompanied by several pictures of airport workers wiping handrails with disinfectants.
Cleaners are unsung heroes who toil quietly behind the scenes to mitigate the outbreak. They are tasked to perform an important mission, keeping us safe from deadly viruses!
