Bukit Aman: Dengkil assemblyman’s drug test came back negative

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have confirmed Dengkil state assemblyman Adhif Syan Abdullah who was arrested in a raid at a condominium in Jalan Puchong early this year has been found negative for drug abuse.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Crimes Investigation Department director Datuk Ramli Din when contacted said it was confirmed via pathology test and the case had been classified as a no further action (NFA) case.

On Jan 13, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador had confirmed that 17 individuals were arrested during an operation at a condominium in Jalan Puchong a day before.  

During the raid, police also found a transparent packet containing 0.5 gramme substance believed to be ketamine and a cigarette containing shredded pieces of leaves believed to be marijuana.
