PUCHONG: AirAsia is making provisions for guests who are unable to travel as a result of their travel history, nationalities and respective travel bans.
In a statement today, AirAsia comes up with move flight option to the passengers. One-time flight must change to a new travel date on the same route, within 90 days from the original flight time.
The statement also said that the process is without additional cost and subject to seat availability.
Other than that, AirAsia offers credit account option which retain the value of the fare in AirAsia BIG Loyalty account for future travel with AirAsia.
The online credit account is to be redeemed for booking within 365 calendar days, from the issuance date to travel.
As for flight departure until 30 April these options are available for flights ticketed prior to 7 March. Passengers are advised to do changes via support.airasia.com if there are any changes on their travel plans.
Meanwhile, guests whose travel plans are affected by restrictions or cancellations are advised to refer to the COVID-19 Refund Request Guide.
